Update from Rwanda 💚 Today, our Missions team had the joy of meeting some of the incredible groups St. Luke’s sponsors through ZOE Empowers—including the inspiring Urumuri-Byimana "Light" group. What a gift to witness their strength, hope, and the impact of empowerment in action! Please continue to keep our team in your prayers as they serve and learn throughout this journey. Pray for meaningful connections, safety, and for God’s love to shine through every moment.

🎙️ New episode of "Your Week with St. Luke's" is available now wherever you listen to podcasts! This week, we begin our Be Fruitful worship series by exploring the first two expressions of the fruit of the Spirit: Love and Joy. Rev. Dr. Jenn Stiles-Williams and St. Luke’s staff member Elizabeth Vasquez host a thoughtful conversation with special guests Alice Williams and Dennis Barber about how these expressions grow within us as part of a Spirit-shaped life—not as a checklist, but as a reflection of God’s presence. Together, they reflect on how love and joy can be cultivated like a garden in our hearts, becoming visible through our everyday actions and relationships. 🎧 https://lnkd.in/etAAVKGp 💬 For more episodes and discussion questions: st.lukes.org/podcast

A huge thank U to the amazing group of St. Lukers who served with West Orange Habitat for Humanity last weekend! Our volunteers helped put the finishing touches on homes that were just dedicated on June 5—installing ceiling fans, caulking, painting, and laying sod to help turn houses into homes. We’re so grateful for all you do to share God’s love through service in our community! Save the date, our next Habitat build day is September 20! Sign up to join us at st.lukes.org/habitat.

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Meet The Becker Family 🌟 Sara and Nathan Becker are Partners at St. Luke’s and have served faithfully for the last year in Children’s Ministry. But in the Becker household, serving is a family affair. Every third Sunday of the month, Nathan and their son Emmett can be found in the 3-year-old room, while Sara and their other son Alex connect with the 1st graders in The Treehouse. “As soon as Mr. Nathan walks in, the kids’ faces light up—they adore him and always ask where he is when he’s not there,” shared one co-leader. “He’s this big ol' guy, but he gets right down on their level to show them how much God loves them." Their rising middle schooler, Juliette, is just as excited to serve alongside her family—she’s already asked to be with the incoming first graders when they move up in August. “The kids are so cute and I really like helping,” she shares. The Beckers embody what it’s all about: serving as a family and making a Kingdom difference. 💛 Want to learn more about the amazing things happening with St. Luke's Kids?
