Nashville Predators Team Up with Music Row Preservation Effort

NHL Team to Host ‘Music Row Preservation Night’ featuring special edition Music Row T-shirts, other prizes

The Nashville Predators will host “Music Row Preservation Night” on February 7 at Bridgestone Arena to show the team’s appreciation for the heart and soul of Music City and support for its future. Special Music Row ticket packages will include admission to the game against the Vancouver Canucks and a limited-edition T-shirt designed by Tree Vibez Music. Songs written and recorded on Music Row will be played by local artists and songwriters in the Bridgestone Arena before the game, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

“The Predators are proud to host Music Row Preservation Night in support of efforts to continue making Nashville known around the world as ‘Music City’,” said Nat Harden, Nashville Predators senior vice president of tickets, premium sales and youth hockey. “Music Row has been around for over 60 years and it is important to all of us in the Nashville community that it to continue to thrive.”

Music Row Junkie T-shirt

The T-shirt is in Predators gold, emblazoned with the words “Music Row Junkie”—a design developed by Tree Vibez Music, the artist development and music publishing company founded by multi-platinum selling artists Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line. The duo, self-declared Music Row Junkies since exploding on the country music scene, are inviting fans to show their passion for Music Row and for Nashville’s hockey team by purchasing the Music Row Junkie t-shirt ticket package.

“We are pleased that the Nashville Predators have joined the multitude of local partners who are working in support of a sustainable future for Music Row,” said David J. Brown, executive vice president and chief preservation officer of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. “Music Row Preservation Night will provide Predators fans with a keepsake T-shirt and will hopefully inspire them to join the growing effort to save this iconic American place.”

Music Row Preservation Night is part of an ongoing campaign to ensure a thriving future for this unique cultural industry district, which research from the National Trust for Historic Preservation demonstrates is the last of its kind in the country. Preservation activities began in 2015 when the National Trust for Historic Preservation designated Nashville’s Music Row as a National Treasure in the wake of the near-demolition of the famous RCA Studio A.

In addition to the special limited edition T-shirt, ticket package purchasers will be entered into a contest to win exclusive prizes related to Music Row’s recording history.

“Artists who write songs and record on Music Row, including Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Sara Evans, Seth Ennis, Reba McEntire and others have generously supplied prizes including CDs, T-shirts and autographed pictures,” said Eddie Robba, chair of the Music Row Neighborhood Association. “The generosity of these artists and the team is a testament to just how widespread the appreciation is for Music Row and its importance to our city’s identity. We’re proud to be working together to link our city’s past with its future.”

Fans can learn more about how to support Music Row at an interactive booth on the arena’s main floor staffed by the Music Row Neighborhood Association and the National Trust for Historic Preservation on game night. Music Row ticket package purchasers will also be able to pick up their T-shirts there and prize-winners can claim their special prizes at the booth.

Proceeds from the Music Row Junkie T-shirt ticket packages will support preservation activities on Music Row.
