Best Sweater Contest for Division of Student Affairs Staff

‘Tis the season to have some fun — send us a photo of you in your best sweater for a chance to win cool prizes!

What to send: A solo photo of you wearing your sweater (must be workplace appropriate).

  • Take a well-lit photo (selfie or have someone take one of you)
  • Why a solo photo? To showcase our efforts to social distance. Check out the photo below for an example.

Who can enter: Division of Student Affairs staff members (Graduate assistants and graduate research assistants may participate.)

How to enter: Email (vpsaevents@austin.utexas.edu) your photo (as an attachment) with “Best Sweater Contest” in the subject line by close of business Tuesday, Dec. 1. Please include your name, department and title in the body of the email.

Judging: We’ll draw the winners during our Vice President for Student Affairs Office Hours via Zoom on Monday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m. Photos will be displayed during the meeting. The contest drawing portion of the meeting will be recorded for use on social media and other communications.

Prize: A Living the Longhorn Life® prize pack including socks, t-shirt, mask and earbuds.

Note: The Vice President for Student Affairs reserves the right to review submissions. Submission photos must show attire that a staff member would wear at their job with UT Austin. Submissions that don’t align with university rules, health guidance and regulations will be exempted from the contest. Submitted photos may be used in promotional materials.
