Our recent "Let’s Get Cooking: Healthy Meals for the Diabetic" event was a flavorful success! Guests enjoyed a delicious, diabetes-friendly meal and dessert prepared by HEBNI, while learning from a certified nutrition educator and dietitian. The session covered how to make smarter food choices, read food labels, and shop with confidence. Because diabetes can cause serious health issues over time, the evening focused on how a balanced diet can help manage long-term effects. Each participant left with educational materials and a packet of 30 healthy recipes to try at home—equipped and inspired to take control of their wellness through food. Thank U to all who came, and to our amazing facilitators from HEBNI!
