Rising Third & Fourth Year Students (Current Second Year and Older Students)

Rising third and fourth year students who want to live on campus during the upcoming 2024-2025 school year can login to the housing portal on Tuesday, October 3. 2023 to view available spaces and complete room selection. There's no lottery process for rising third and fourth year students - you'll be able to complete your application and select a room all at the same time!

Each year, many upperclass students choose to live on campus. Why should you?

  • Convenience: With so many on-campus options, you'll be close to classrooms, dining, and other campus activities.
  • Flexibility: Not sure if you are going to study abroad or not? Unsure about an internship that's outside of Oxford? When you live on campus you don't have to worry about a lease. We'll release you from the housing contract for the semester if you are away from Oxford!
  • One Bill: Everything is charged to your university account, and utilities are included.
  • Tuition Guarantee: Miami's Tuition Guarantee applies to housing and meal plan rates, so your costs are more predictable.
  • Stay Connected: Living on campus is a great way to stay connected to campus activities, programs, and more.

Rising Second Year Students (Current First Year Students)

Room selection for rising second year students takes place during the Spring semester of your first year. General dates are listed below. You can also check out more details about these processes by clicking more details at any time! View our tutorial video for creating a roommate group, selecting a room, and completing the housing contract.

All full-time first year students and second year students are required to live on campus through the spring semester of their second academic year of enrollment.
