Biology Laboratory Internship

salary: $22 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities

The project will involve evaluation of molecular enzymes and immunohistochemistry reagents used for cancer and disease diagnosis. The intern will be trained in laboratory methods of molecular biology, histology, and immunohistochemistry staining.

Basic understanding of molecular biology and laboratory instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have completed undergraduate course work in genetics, molecular biology, immunology, or similar. Preference will be given to candidates with previous laboratory work experience.

Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in biological sciences (e.g., biology, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, or similar) and entering their junior or senior year. Community college graduates with an associate degree in biology, biotechnology or similar and planning to pursue a BS degree will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.
