Sr. Manager, Clinical Underwriting Services

This position will report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer and assumes overall responsibility for the Clinical Underwriting department. Fosters and maintains solid working relationships with both internal and external clients via a strong professional network and keeping abreast of new developments affecting case management, and health care cost. This role is responsible for assuring medical risk analysis are completed on large claimants for proposed ESL, EmCap, and Managed Care new business and renewal business.

Data Analyst

This role is responsible for creating and managing business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge, ultimately helping an organization make better decisions. This is done by leveraging software tools to transform data into useful insights via reports, summaries, dashboards, graphs, charts, or maps.

Business Development and Sales Manager

This position will be a hybrid role. In addition to being responsible for sales in the Mid-Atlantic Region, this role will also be responsible for contributing to key strategic growth and agency distribution initiatives. This person will drive new business premium through identifying and building strong business relationships with key distribution partners and clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Claims Associate

This position manages the BAH Claims mailbox which includes: - Setup and data entry of all new claim submissions. Forwarding and filing all aggregate reports and notices to appropriate parties. - Responding to claim status requests as needed.

Program Account Executive

Berkley Accident and Health seeks a Program Account Executive to support the sales and member growth initiatives of its EmCap Programs. - Support the stop loss sales process for existing and prospective captive programs.

Regional Sales Manager - Western Region

This position develops profitable business initiatives in an assigned territory by devising detailed, focused sales plan to identify target markets needed to hit sales goals, directing distribution of ESL and Corporate Products in assigned region and any unassigned states through network of preferred producers, and creating new distribution outlets and facilitating marketing efforts to utilize alternative distribution methods.

Corporate Accountant

This position is responsible for accounting and reporting related to the business unit’s reinsurance programs. Performs a variety of daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting and financial reporting activities related to the Company’s reinsurance programs and Group Captive business segment.

Underwriter - Managed Care

This position will solicit, write, and retain a profitable book of Managed Care/Reinsurance business. Requiring extensive underwriting analysis and sound judgment, this role will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of Berkley Accident and Health’s financial plans by meeting established premium growth and profitability goals.

Clinical Underwriting RN

The position performs individual medical risk analysis on large claimants for proposed Traditional, Captive, and Managed Care new and renewal business. Reviews data provided by the policyholder to identify claimants with catastrophic or complex diagnoses and assess medical and claims information available to calculate potential risk.
