PwC Programming and Professional Development Grants

The PwC Programming and Professional Development Grants are here to support recognized student groups and promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts on our campus. In this page you will find the details and application instructions for the grants. If your student group applies for one of these grants, please allow 5-7 business days for application review.

PwC Programming Grant


The Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion offers PwC programming grants to assist student groups hosting events that contribute to the University’s efforts to support and promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. These grants are designed to enhance collaborations between student clubs and organizations. Special consideration will be given to new programs sponsored by two or more recognized student clubs and organizations. Grants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will have rolling applications throughout the academic year. The money available will be distributed equally across the fall and spring semesters to ensure availability throughout the academic year.

Cap amount per grant: $5,000.00

Requirements:

  • The event must be hosted on campus and open to the Notre Dame community.

  • The application must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the event.

  • An NDCentral request must be already submitted and in the process of being approved.

  • The funds will be given by reimbursing the expenses of the event including but not limited to food, entertainment, promotional materials, supplies, etc.

  • Student groups must submit a proposed budget for the program explaining how they plan to use the funds as part of their application.


PwC Professional Development Grant


The PwC Professional Development Grants are available to student groups who have shown support for and/or a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts at the University of Notre Dame and have the approval/support of one or more of the offices housed in the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. These grants must be used for activities that will enhance the professional development of the members of the student group, such as networking events, attendance at conferences, hosting a guest speaker, hosting lectures that support the student group’s mission, etc. Grants cannot be used to pay membership dues to an association and/or organization. Grants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will have rolling applications throughout the academic year. The money available will be distributed equally across the fall and spring semesters to ensure availability throughout the academic year.

Cap amount per grant: $2,500.00

Requirements:

  • The grant application must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the event or program if it is hosted on campus and 4 weeks prior if it involves travel away from campus.

  • Applying student groups must have the support to apply from one or more of the offices housed in the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. These are the Gender Relations Center, Multicultural Student Programs and Services, and the Office of Student Enrichment.

  • If the grant will be used for a professional development event or travel, an NDCentral request must be already submitted and in the process of being approved.

  • The funds will be given by covering expenses related to professional development activities or programs that support the members of the student group.

    • If two or more student groups plan to co-sponsor a professional development event or activity, they can collaborate and submit a single grant application.
