Theodore Sahd

Ted Sahd, age 81, dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, passed away October 5, 2023.  Ted was known for his generosity; he was the helper of everyone in his extended family. He was a retired Air Force pilot, a consummate chef, and he loved hunting, fishing, and hiking. Most of all he loved spending time in the kitchen with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Marcia Sahd; his children Michelle Phillips and Daniel Sahd; and his grandchildren, Keenan Phillips, Kristin and Alex Bernadett, Jarrett Sahd, and Jeremy Sahd, and two great grandchildren, Hayden, and Hadley Bernadett. He is also survived by his brother Randy Sahd. Also touching Ted’s life were Marie Gonzalez and her two sons Marco Gonzalez and Michael Gonzalez, a family adopted into Ted’s heart upon the loss of his great friend and their husband/father, Marco Gonzalez Senior. He also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ted was preceded in death by his father SP Sahd and his mother Patricia Sahd and many aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held October 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.  Interment will take place at an undetermined date and time at the United States Air Force Academy Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
