A group of young men and women from Chipata Church of the Nazarene in Zambia recently travelled to Ufulu Church of the Nazarene in Malawi to support a two-day youth conference.

The youth event was held 17-18 December 2022 under the theme Igniting the Fire for Jesus. More than 80 youths attended the event, which included Bible quiz competitions, games, preaching, a gospel music show, and choir performances along with special presentations from the Zambia youth.

The Zambian youths call themselves the Caravan Scouts Club, and their mission is to bring young people to Christ through the concept of scouts. The Zambians presented various scout drills and dances in addition to joining in the evangelism activities taking place.

The Ufulu Church of the Nazarene, through the local Nazarene Youth International, has a ministry called Youth Ablaze @412. This ministry is comprised of youth from the local church and other non-Nazarene churches in the area. According to Ufulu Pastor Bota, the Youth Ablaze services were a joyful experience for all.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
