The Challenge
In the Adobe 3D & Immersive team, we are changing the world of 3D! Own and drive technology strategy for Adobe’s 3D and Immersive business
Develop long-term scalable architectural direction, with a focus on design, usability, and user experience, as well as a constant focus on new technological trends and directions
Establish processes and methods that ensure efficient productivity, quality, and reliability. You will drive the creation of processes and tools to support multiple platforms, continuous scaling, and product expansion
Guide creative Engineering leaders to set roadmaps and plan the development and delivery of technology at an enterprise level of quality

What is needed to succeed?

10+ years of people leadership & management experience in software product development, in one or more of these fields: 3D, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Video Games, VFX, Game Engines, Machine Learning, Immersive design
A proven track record of leading the development and delivery of large-scale product offerings and systems within a high growth, global, matrixed environment. You have demonstrated technical acumen in engineering, architecture, and product and service development

Ability to provide technical, product and business guidance, career development, and mentoring to Senior Directors and Directors

Meet production deadlines and communicate clearly with production management

Maintain expected render time and quality consistent with the production
Communicate and work to resolve inefficiencies with the Lighting supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
Strong sense of composition, light and color theory
1 to 5 years work experience in animation or visual effects industry
Maintain strong balance between artistic and technical skill, with thorough understanding of Animation workflow
Strong knowledge of 3D software (Blender, Maya, C4D, 3DS Max) and production ready render engines (Cycles, Arnold, Vray)
Blender experience will be as asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to use positive tone and attitude to diffuse conflict, provide solutions, and cultivate a fun and productive working environment
