Charger Book Pass Program

Cypress College has teamed up with the Campus Bookstore to provide all your required textbook-related course materials (eBooks, textbooks, and access codes) as part of the Charger Book Pass for no more than $100 for the semester. This one-year pilot program this 2023-24 academic year provides an easy, cost-effective, single-price option for reducing textbook costs.

If you’re registered for one or more classes at Cypress College, you automatically have the Charger Book Pass! If for some reason you decide you'd prefer not to use the Charger Book Pass or it simply does not make financial sense for your class situation, you may opt out of the program. Prepare for the Start of Fall 2023

Parking Registration and Permit Required for Free On-Campus Parking

You must register your vehicle(s) and display a permit to access free on-campus parking. Each vehicle must be registered.

Register your vehicle or register your motorcycle by August 18 to receive your fall permit by mail.

Step-by-step instructions for registering your vehicle are available here.

Enforcement of parking permits will begin Monday, September 4. All other parking and traffic regulations will continue to be enforced throughout the district at all times.

Purchase Your Student ID and Take Your ID Photo For Charger Food Pass

Cypress College is offering a free Charger Food Pass, which provides students with $12 to purchase breakfast and/or lunch at the Charger Cafe Monday-Friday during the semester.

This value will be loaded to your student ID each day and DOES NOT roll over. A student ID is required to access this benefit.

Haven't yet purchased a student ID card this semester? Purchase one in myGateway by clicking on "Add or Drop Classes or purchase parking, AS, or ID." There is a $2.50 fee per semester.

Take your photo and pick up your card at Admissions and Records on the 1st floor of the Student Center.

Log in to Canvas for Online/Remote Courses

Go directly to Canvas at cypresscollege.instructure.com, and log in with your student ID and myGateway password.

Please check into Canvas before your first day of class. If you don’t see your course(s) listed, we encourage you to reach out to your instructor.

Please note: Most textbook-related course materials provided through the Charger Book Pass are directly accessible in Canvas.

Need to Add a Last-Minute Class?

Check the searchable class schedule and select "Yes" in the "Open Classes Only" filter. You may register for classes in myGateway without an add code until August 20, at 11:59 p.m. After that, you will need to request an add code from the instructor.
