Make sure you have a beautiful balance between your academics and extra curricular activities! This balance led me to graduation as well as to life long friendships. Not to mention I met my husband while I was here!

Simply...enjoy it. You'll get so caught up in the day to day and hard work. Then you will suddenly look back and decades will have passed. Stockton is special and I treasure my time spent there. '96

Keep an open mind. Have fun but work hard. Be involved in what interests you the most. A great place to learn and make life long friends. I am jealous:)

If you get bored with a class, remember every course of study you take at Stockton is there because a whole lot of people all over the world found that particular topic/body of knowledge so interesting that they devoted their careers to it, in many cases. For example, the professors and instructors who teach the course at Stockton. Find out from them why they think their course is worth teaching. I did that when I attended Stockton and it helped me get more out of some of my classes that I wasn’t, initially, that stoked about taking. Since I left Stockton, I’ve used that strategy to learn about all kinds of new things and it has helped me in my career and life in general.
