John Raztenberger (Cliff Clavin) was the only main actor not to appear in every episode of Cheers.

Cheers was an American sitcom that ran for 11 seasons on NBC, from 1982 to 1993.

Set in a bar in Boston, the show revolved around the lives of several "regulars" and the bar's owner, Sam Malone (a former baseball player and recovering alcoholic). Nearly all of the action took place inside the bar, where groups of locals gathered to drink, socialize, and trade good-natured barbs with the staff and with each other.

The ensemble cast included many actors who became famous in their own right and went on to even bigger careers. Ted Danson, Woody Harrelson, Shelley Long, Kirstie Alley, and Kelsey Grammar (who starred in his own spin-off series, Frasier) are all Cheers alumni.

Although it was nearly canceled in its first season due to poor ratings, the show went on to become must-see television for most of its run.
