Qatar Airways and gategroup sign agreement for inflight dining services
gategroup has announced a catering partnership with Qatar Airways to elevate the inflight dining experience. The two companies signed a structured Business Management Agreement that will see collaboration on inflight dining, sourcing and procurement, healthy eating and sustainability, the February 12 press release said.
“This partnership with gategroup will amplify the Qatar Airways brand by delivering refined culinary experiences for our guests, inflight and on the ground in our world class lounges at Hamad International Airport. gategroup brings an exciting new beginning to an already world class standard of catering by Qatar Airways. Collectively our innovation and operational excellence will set a new standard for Inflight dining,” said Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer.

gategroup’s culinary team will be based in Doha and will develop a dedicated culinary studio for the airline. The menu offerings will focus on high-quality ingredients, health and nutrition and incorporating local produce that is sustainability sourced.
