How the Application Process Works

Personal Statement

A personal statement of approximately 500 words to help us get to know you. Tell us about why you would like to attend, what interests you about the Major and Minor/Workshop courses, and what you will contribute to the study abroad program. Let us know about your academic and extracurricular activities or interests and anything else that will help us to get to know you.

Teacher Information

All applicants are asked to submit the name and contact details of a teacher or counselor who can speak knowledgeably about them.

For students applying for language immersion courses in France or Spain, we ask that you provide the contact information for your language teacher. The language Teacher Recommendation form can be accessed via the student portal and should be completed by your French or Spanish teacher. It asks the teacher to estimate your language level.

Language Writing Sample

For students applying for language immersion courses in France or Spain, an additional 500-word statement in French or Spanish is required. This statement should outline your interest in furthering your language skills and what you hope to gain from your Oxbridge experience.

Payment Options

A deposit or payment is required to complete the application.

There are three payment options:

Pay in full
Pay a $500 deposit and begin the payment plan
Pay $1,000 deposit and pay the remaining balance in May

Once this is completed, you are given access to the portal, in which you choose courses and can submit their personal statement.

Deposits are fully refundable to applicants that aren't accepted.

What Happens Next?

Admission Department Review

The Oxbridge Office of Admissions carefully reviews each completed application and contacts students in the order in which applications are received. Admissions decisions are typically sent by email no longer than three weeks following receipt of a completed application. Upon conditional admission to Oxbridge, students are required to provide the following information within two weeks:

Transcript: A copy of the most recent transcript or grade report from school (in English) should be uploaded in PDF format to the applicant's student portal at myoxbridgeexperience.com.
Course Selections: Students should preference their top three Major and Minor/Workshop courses, as applicable, in their student portal. Please note that some courses are subject to additional Materials Fees. Please reference our complete course listings for information about all courses and any applicable fees.
