Updates

  • Join us in celebrating our Deputy Director of Performing Arts/Theaters, Randy Vogel, for being recognized by ON Media as one of this season's Arts Heroes! Randy's first day of work for the city of Mesa was the same day in 2002 as the first day of construction for the Mesa Arts Center. Twenty-one years later, he continues to play a key role in making the center — physically, programmatically, culturally, civically — a building block for community enrichment and downtown revitalization through arts and culture. Congratulations, Randy! 👏

Part of the museum’s effort to attract more visitors and increase awareness is the development of a more contemporary logo and branding. You, our community, have been invited to participate in this survey so we can learn more about what we can do to bring our mission to life through branding (logo, colors, fonts, graphics) that better represents the new and improved i.d.e.a. Community Engagement/Government Relations

Honored to join our friends at the Mesa Arts Center / City of Mesa Arts & Culture last evening for the 2024 Spring Arts in Service Exhibition. Boeing is a proud founding sponsor of the Arts in Service program, which provides studio art classes at no cost to our dedicated service members and veterans - empowering them through creativity and self expression. Throughout the evening we had the privilege of speaking with veterans and hearing more about the transformative power of art and its ability to heal, inspire and empower. Partnerships like these enable us to make a lasting difference and provide creative pathways that ensure our heroes thrive. Thank you to my colleague, TJ Jamison, for highlighting the importance of this program. I’m grateful for our continued partnership with the Mesa Arts Center and their incredible team: Mandy Tripoli, Laura E. Wilde, Hillary West.

  • Help us build Mesa's future so we can maintain our city's high public safety and quality of life standards. Mesa residents are invited to attend an Open House event to learn about proposed projects and to share their thoughts on what they would like to see in their community over the next ten years. Potential projects have been divided into three categories: Enhanced Public Safety, Active Lifestyles, and Expanded Educational and Cultural Experiences. You'll have the opportunity to let us know which public projects you’d like Mesa to invest in the future during these community meetings. Input gathered at the public meetings will be presented to our Mesa City Council. More information is available at https://lnkd.in/gpWntrTA
