Green and Clean

Be a part of Gresham's ninth annual Green and Clean. During Gresham's day of service, we come together to promote community pride and celebrate our parks and trails.

RSVP to NeighborhoodServices@GreshamOregon.gov by April 15.

Trails cleanup

This year, community volunteers will help refresh City trails ahead of the Gresham Lilac Run. All ages are welcome. Afterward, celebrate doing good with a lunch party for all volunteers.

Activities

  • Trash pickup along trails.
  • Fill potholes along primitive trails with dirt/gravel.
  • Cut back vegetation.
  • Remove fallen branches debris and blackberry off to side.

  • Green and Clean community volunteers will help refresh City trails ahead of the Gresham Lilac Run. Runners take on the Springwater Trail (pictured), Gresham Saddle Butte Trail and Butler Creek Trail.

  • Helping hands give the Hartley Elementary School grounds a much-needed makeover in 2019.

  • Kids are encouraged to have fun making a difference in a day. 

  • Nearly 200 community volunteers spread out to beautify Main City Park in 2018.

  • Teamwork at Main City Park in 2018.

  • Volunteers of all ages came together with staff from the City and Highland Elementary School ub 2017. The work party planted and weeded, laid bark dust on the playground, and created new garden beds.

  • It was a busy and beautiful day planting, weeding and refreshing Nadaka Nature Park and Trail in 2016.

  • Invasive blackberries were no match for the Green and Clean volunteer crew of 2015.
