HOW TO START A FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER

The Haitian Project is eligible for Facebook Fundraisers. It's easy to start a fundraiser in honor of a birthday, Giving Tuesday… or just because!

Reach out 

As you begin, email The Haitian Project at [email protected] that you are starting a THP Facebook Fundraiser. We’re here to help!

GETTING STARTED

Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed. You may need to click See More.
Click + Raise Money.
Select Nonprofit or Charity.

CREATE

You’ll be prompted to give details about your fundraiser. There is no minimum or maximum for how much to raise or for how long. There is a default description; add why THP is important to you!
Click Create.

Promote and Engage

Repost as much as you’d like, asking friends to help you meet your fundraising goal. Feel free to include the link to our website HaitianProject.org for more info!
