JULY 3rd, 2020: DIANNA JOINS HER MATES TO RELEASE A HEARTFELT COLLABORATION DURING THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
On April 23, 2020 in the middle of the COVID19 pandemic and lockdown, 4 women, award-winning country artists and great friends, Amber Lawrence, Aleyce Simmonds, Kirsty Lee Akers and Dianna Corcoran got together online to perform their version of TRUE BLUE in honour of not only frontline workers here and abroad, but also as an uplifting, spirit building reminder to all Australian’s, that ‘we will get through this’. With tens of thousands of views on Facebook in just a few hours and hundreds of heartfelt comments, the girls heeded the request by all, to officially record a version for commercial release.
THE WHO, THE WHERE, THE HOW
Dianna Corcoran is a multi-award winning, platinum-selling Australian singer-songwriter and music producer. Her career as a country music artist has seen her top multiple charts and claim many of the industry's most prestigious awards, including two Australian Country Music awards, one of those for "Female Artist of the Year".
Her concert tours took her around the world and included three entertainment tours of duty with the Armed Forces to war zones in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Solomon Islands, Egypt and Cyprus.
