The Nonprofit Center, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC), is hosting its annual full-day conference: Mission & Method: Strategies for Greater Nonprofit Impact and Collaboration.

The Mission and Methods conference is open to all Anne Arundel County 501(c)(3) nonprofits*, regardless of annual budget, size, or mission.

Option 1: Government Investment into Nonprofits: Accessing State Resource

Disover what state and federal resources are available to nonprofits, and the best ways for small to midsized nonprofits to access them.

Option 2: Diverse Boards, Better Outcomes: Using a Board Matrix to Build for Success

A well-crafted board matrix helps nonprofits recruit members with the skills and perspectives needed for long-term success. In this session, attendees will explore strategies for building diverse boards that reflect the communities you serve and develop approaches to ensure all board members have the resources to thrive in their roles.

Understand the benefits of listing your nonprofit on charity rating sites, the value of a strong online presence, and which digital communications channels best suit your organization.

Option 2: Bringing Strategy to Life: Practical Steps for Advancing the Mission

How do you know when it's time to expand or start a new program? Learn how to use key performance indicators and strategic planning tools to guide your organization through a time of growth.

Session 3, 2pm to 2:50pm - Session Choices:

Option 1: Turning Data into Designs and Decisions

Explore how to measure and share your nonprofit’s successes in clear and inspiring ways, using visuals and simple tools to communicate both numbers and stories. You’ll also hear how you can use data to improve your programs and make better decisions, from planning for growth to adjusting current projects.

Option 2: Connections as Capital:The Benefits of Shared Space

Discover how shared spaces can transform your organization by fostering collaboration, reducing overhead costs, and unlocking new opportunities for growth. Join us to explore practical strategies for leveraging these spaces to maximize capacity and impact.

*WHO CAN ATTEND: Any registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located and operating in Anne Arundel County, Maryland with at least 50% of the population served residing in Anne Arundel County. Due to space limitations, only two attendees from the same organization may register.
