Executive Transactions: Anthony DiCosmo Joins Jordan Brand

Jordan Brand named Nickelodeon Senior VP/Sports Marketing & Development ANTHONY DICOSMO global head of sports marketing. DiCosmo, who will be based at Nike's Beaverton HQ, will report to NICO HARRISON, who oversees Nike's sports marketing for basketball and Jordan Brand. DiCosmo, an SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" honoree in '16, wrote in an e-mail, "I will ensure Jordan Brand has the right athletes to authenticate the brand and inspire our fearless consumer across all sports" (Adam Stern, THE DAILY). ... ROD TAYLOR and GRAHAM HOWSE have been confirmed as co-chairs of League Two side Morecambe. PETER MCGUIGAN stepped down as chair and director on Nov. 1, six months after London-based Bond Group Investments completed its takeover (BBC, 11/10).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Serie A side Chievo Manager GIAMPIERO VENTURA reportedly offered his resignation "after his first point for the club." According to Sky Sport Italia, Ventura "decided to walk away from the Stadio Bentegodi" just four games after replacing LORENZO D'ANNA on Oct. 10 (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 11/11).
