About this event

On behalf of former Professor of Art Keiko Hara, we would like to cordially invite you to a reception hosted by Washington State University's Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art celebrating her recent exhibition, entitled Keiko Hara: Four Decades of Paintings and Prints, and the release of her newest publication, under the same name. This exhibition chronicles her unwavering commitment to painting and her unique form of Japanese woodblock printmaking over a 40-year period. Her companion publication is also her first full-scale museum publication, published by the WSU Press and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU.

Books will be available for purchase and the artist will be available to sign books, mingle, and answer questions. Light refreshments will be served in the Pavilion Gallery, provided by WSU. There is no cost for this event. We hope you may be able to attend and celebrate Professor Hara's exuberant career.

If you have any questions, please contact WSU's Curator of Education & Programs, Kristin Becker, at 509-335-2079 or kristin.carlson@wsu.edu.
