D3hoops.com Release

The accolades keep on coming for Whitman College women's basketball junior forward Korin Baker who was voted and today named D3hoops.com All-America Fifth Team.

The honor comes two weeks after the Washington native was garnered both WBCA and D3hoops.com all-region honors. Baker was also named the Northwest Conference's Player of the Year and led the Blues to a NWC regular season title and NCAA Tournament run.

Baker was stellar all season long for the Blues in earning Whitman's sixth player of the year honor. During conference play, she ranked sixth in scoring (13.8 ppg) and second in rebounding (9.3 rpg). She also posted 25 blocks on season good for a league-best 1.6 blocks per game average.
