Zoo New England's Field Conservation department works full time to protect wild animals and plants in New England and beyond. One of our most successful programs has been partnering with local schools to raise endangered baby turtles in classrooms, connecting kids with nature and boosting the turtle population at the same time. Conservation Outreach Coordinator Matt Kamm will share an overview and the exciting results of this innovative program at Carlisle schools and beyond, as well as offering insight into how Zoo New England approaches the conservation of species and wider ecosystems in New England's changing landscape.

Presented by the Carlisle Conservation Foundation and Gleason Public Library. Registration encouraged to reserve your seat but walk-ins are welcome.
