HCA Most Improved Player Prize

The Big Payback may be over, but the fun definitely is not! We still have two post-event prizes to give out, one being the HCA Most Improved Prize. This prize is awarded to the large, medium, and small organizations who really stepped up their game for The Big Payback 2021.

Eligible organizations are those based in Davidson County who have participated in The Big Payback for two or more years, including 2021. The application can be found here. Deadline for submission is Friday, June 4.

It's helpful to have numbers of donors and dollars raised during past giving days at hand when you fill out the survey. To find this info for the years 2017-2021, login with your nonprofit account at TheBigPayback.org and click on the My Donations header.

(Please note: Organizations may submit for both the Creative Campaign Award AND the HCA Most Improved Player Prize.)

The Big Payback Creative Campaign Award

Thanks to the Danner Foundation, the Creative Campaign Award will once again be awarded this year. We're switching things up and will grant SIX prizes this year in the following format:

1. Danner Foundation Creative Campaign Award, 1st Place, Large Organizations
2. Danner Foundation Creative Campaign Award, Runner Up, Large Organizations
3. Danner Foundation Creative Campaign Award, 1st Place, Medium Organizations
4. Danner Foundation Creative Campaign Award, Runner Up, Medium Organizations
5. Danner Foundation Creative Campaign Award, 1st Place, Small Organizations
6. Danner Foundation Creative Campaign Award, Runner Up, Small Organizations

Many nonprofits participating in The Big Payback conducted remarkable campaigns to educate and engage donors about the big day. We're looking for the best of these marketing materials and events. Materials will be reviewed by a committee of marketing professionals, and the winner will be announced in mid-June.

Housekeeping Items

All of your donors received a tax-receipt from The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, but we know they'd love to hear from you, too! We've seen many wonderful thank you messages to donors. If you haven't done this yet ... make sure you do soon!
To view your donor report, go to thebigpayback.org, and login as a nonprofit. One logged in, go to the My Donations tab on your page. Make sure you filter the report to only see donations that came in through The Big Payback in 2021.
Our friends at Turnip Green Creative Reuse are recycling The Big Payback yard signs! You can drop them off at 407 Houston Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
The Big Payback funds will be distributed to organizations via ACH Direct Deposit no later than June 30th.
