Mount Union to host exhibit based on supply chain

University of Mount Union is playing host to an exhibit that spotlights the supply chain in its Sally Otto Gallery.

The exhibit, called “Jason Milburn: Supply Chain,” will run through Dec. 14.

Milburn was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, and received his bachelor of fine arts in drawing and printmaking from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and his master of fine arts from Kent State University.

Milburn primarily works in ink on paper, with collage and found objects often being incorporated. Rendered figures are placed in environments made of flat washes of color to create ambivalent, but humorous, often irreverent, narratives of existential themes.

Milburn received an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council and has exhibited widely throughout Northeast Ohio and the surrounding region.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. An artist’s reception is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 17. For more information, contact Mike Schmidt at schmidmi@mountunion.edu.
