After finding success in the Christian rock genre, American Idol alum Colton Dixon has been unstoppable.
Dixon’s latest releases, the dual EPs Calm and Storm, come after two albums (A Messenger in 2013 and Anchor in 2014) that both charted on the Billboard 200.

Now, Dixon is premiering two videos on Billboard for songs that appeared on the Anchor album. The new videos for the tracks “Echo” and “Limitless” showcase new versions of the songs: one is an uptempo remix by Neon Feather, while the latter is an acoustic version.

Both videos were shot by director Caleb Rexius, who met Dixon when they both made it to American Idol’s Hollywood Week. Rexius has previously worked with Tobymac and Britt Nicole.

Dixon told Billboard that he’s excited to share sides of his music that haven’t been heard before.
“I’m so proud of this project,” Dixon said. “I’ve not yet showcased the soft side of what I do, and am honored to have so many producers re-create my songs. Whether you need something easy to listen to or workout music, this is for you.”
It’s proving to be a big year for Colton, from releasing new music to recently getting engaged. The singer popped the question to girlfriend Annie Coggeshall in Disney World on Sept. 14.
