Two soulful roots-rockers — Louisana’s Marc Broussard and Nashville-based songsmith Langhorne Slim — will take the stage at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works (1402 Clinton St) on Tuesday, and it’ll only cost their fans $5 in advance.

What’s the occasion? 36|86, a new annual gathering that will bring business leaders, investors and startups to Nashville Monday-Wednesday. You won’t need to register for that event in order to see Tuesday night’s concert, however. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door.
