Before my grandpa Montgomery passed I remember him talking about Wyoming and how badass it was growing up around here. He would tell me how he was gonna bring me here some day so I could see it or myself. This morning I asked a local where I should go to see some good scenery and she told me to come to Casper Mountain. When we were pulling in I looked at the road sign and it was called Montgomery Road. After thinking that was a weird coincidence I looked up there was a bald eagle flying with Wyoming mountains behind it just like the image that’s etched on his grave stone. I felt more at peace than I have in a long time and couldn’t help but feel like he was by my side on that whole time. You kept your word, grandpa. Miss you and love you..
