Jermaine Wall, LICSW, Clinical Therapist for Children's Hospital PIRC will discuss the challenges we are facing in the mental health parts of parenting. The struggle is real! Let's talk about it.
Parenting is hard. Parenting in the times of Covid-19, lockdowns and social media is really hard. Some of us have the addition of neurodiversity and mental health struggles in our households. How do we know when to get help? Where do we turn? Let's ask those questions, and talk about our realities. The option for asking anonymous questions will be available. Please leave the kids at home for this one since some sensitive topics may be addressed. Representatives and/or information from Trussville City Schools, Glenwood, Magic City Acceptance Center, Addiction Prevention Coalition and The Amelia Center will be in the lobby as well.
