Microsoft Word is one of the easiest ways to generate an accessible electronic document and it converts easily to an accessible PDF. Join us via Teams for a hands-on exercise that will provide a Best Practices checklist for your Word documents.
Being accessible isn't difficult, it just takes good habits! Contact Laura Hopkins if you have any questions or need to schedule a training at an alternate time.
Join us via Teams to review the PowerPoint Best Practices Checklist. Creating an accessible PowerPoint isn't difficult but does require specific actions. Accessible PowerPoints also convert well to accessible PDFs.
This is a hands-on opportunity! You can folllow along creating your own accessible PowerPoint during this training.

The class has three parts:
- How to know if a PDF is accessible or not
- How to convert an accessible Word document to an accessible PDF document
- How to convert an accessible Word document into an accessible, fillable PDF document.

1. Follow the steps in this document to use Teams for this class and join the Knowledge Services OIT Online Training Team.
2. Find the Training Guide 2023 in the Files tab of the Sitecore channel.
3. The class will be listed in the Posts tab of the Sitecore channel.
- Look for the purple "Join" button next to the class name.
- Join the class at the scheduled time.
4. Complete all required Web Modernization trainings.
Alternate arrangements will be made, and registrants will receive an email with further information.

- Sitecore trainers cannot troubleshoot Teams issues.
- If you do not join the Team, you will not have a Chat button.
- You must join the Team to access the training guide.
2. The class will be listed in the Posts tab of the Cascade channel.
- Look for the purple "Join" button next to the class name.
- Join the class at the scheduled time.
3. Complete all required Web Modernization trainings.
Alternate arrangements will be made, and registrants will receive an email with further information.
