Community Information Day

An annual event for people living with low vision or blindness and those who care for them

This event is an opportunity for people in the vision impairment community to connect with each other, share experiences and get up-to-date information.

The 12th Annual Community Information Day will be held on Saturday, 16th November 2024 as an in-person event.

  • Dictate in Office 365. Dictation lets you use speech-to-text to author content in Office with a microphone and reliable internet connection. You can use this feature to create documents, email messages, presentations and slide notes
  • Listen to your Word documents with Read Aloud. (Easy on your eyes and great for proofing!)
  • Use Immersive Reader for distraction-free personalised reading. It will improve your speed and comprehension. (Available in Word, OneNote, Teams, Outlook and much more)
