Description
People often react to the notion of “cultivating well-being” with a raised eyebrow and a sigh, signaling they know it’s important, but they wonder who has time for such a thing. How does someone even do that?
Well-being is more easily understood as your quality of life as defined by you: are you living a life you want to live in the ways you want to live it, across all the dimensions of health, relationships, family, career, income, and sense of purpose? The great thing is that well-being is not all-or-nothing but can be built up and cultivated by anyone who wants it for themselves, and they can start at any time.
Join Quade French, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist, who is currently serving as USC Dornsife’s Associate Dean for Academic Culture and Well-being, for an interactive workshop where together you will learn more about what well-being can look like in the years and decades since graduation, identify what might get in the way of pursuing positive change, and identify concrete strategies that you may find helpful in your pursuit of well-being. You will have a chance to connect with other Dornsife alumni and learn about what well-being looks like to you and others as you share and connect.
