Wholesome International is a multi-concept restaurant development company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are the Northeast Ohio and Pittsburgh franchisee for Five Guys Burgers and Fries. We are also the team behind Choolaah, a new Indian fast casual concept located in Orange Village, Ohio with more stores soon to come. To date, we operate 25 stores and employ nearly 550 associates. 

As avid students of best practices in performance excellence, we apply Maslow’s hierarchy and industry best practices to fuel our people growth engine. In fall of 2012, we initiated the application of the Malcolm Baldrige framework for Performance Excellence in our company. And it goes without saying that we serve only the most amazing quality food made from the very best ingredients.

Wholesome International was founded in 2004 with the vision of transforming the quality of life of every person who eats in our restaurant--and even those who don’t. Leadership through serving others is at the heart of who we are. Our mission and core values are our daily moral compass. We strive to be dedicated stewards of the environment. And we proudly give back to our local communities through volunteering and charitable contributions.
