Laurence A. Hirsh, CRE, MAI, SGA – President
Larry Hirsh is a widely published author and frequent lecturer at industry events. He has done assignments on more than 3,000 courses in 45 US states and Canada, brokered more than $125 million in golf course properties and been the lead developer in a golf course development project. Mr. Hirsh is an avid low-handicap golfer and premiere member of the Golfweek “America’s Best” course ranking panel. He is a member of The National Golf Foundation, National Golf Course Owners Association and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Mr. Hirsh is a certified general appraiser in 13 states and a licensed real estate Broker in 7 states.
Judith G. Hirsh, Esq.
Ms. Hirsh joined the firm in 1993 as business manager and in-house counsel. A graduate of Penn State University and Dickinson School of Law, Judy practiced law for 3 years and provides the firm legal counsel and limited representation, as well as counsel for litigation assignments. Ms. Hirsh combines her unique blend of legal and extensive appraisal experience to provide clients expert services. She has completed hundreds of assignments on all types of facilities nationwide.
Rachel M. Thompson
Ms. Thompson joined the firm in May 1999 as the Marketing Coordinator. Rachel has substantial experience in appraisal, club development, and membership marketing. She acts in the capacity of assistant appraiser/consultant, broker/agent and marketing coordinator for the firm. She has worked on hundreds of assignments nationwide and also focuses on ski resort appraisals.
Michele Taunton
Ms. Taunton joined the firm in June 2020 as the research associate and administrative assistant. She is very passionate about all sports and has been an athlete and coach in softball, soccer, and volleyball. With a business degree in Sports Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University, Michele is knowledgeable about the ever-growing sports industry on and off the field. When she is not cheering for her favorite Philly sports teams, she can be found at the gym, teaching youth sports classes, or biking in local parks. Michele is very excited to start a new career in the golf course industry and become a valuable part of the firm.
