The Blazing 10K brought together many of the finest running club teams in the Midwest and produced historic times.
Among them was Runablaze Iowa team member Austin O’Brien ’14, a former Central College runner. O’Brien finished runner-up in the men’s race in 29 minutes, 19 seconds. That time is 10th on the state’s all-time list of times run by an Iowan for 6.2 miles and a Runablaze club record.
