Everyday, we bring hope to people who are struggling

Together, we give those we serve a second chance to believe in themselves A Message for the Holidays from our CEO

Dear Friends:

What a beautiful and momentous year! In 2022, we celebrated so many milestones.

  • We welcomed more than 400 Ukrainian people fleeing the war and helped them resettle in Rochester.
  • We began offering behavioral health services to people living with intellectual developmental disabilities in our behavioral health clinic.
  • We re-opened the newly renovated Hannick Hall in Lyons, Wayne County, allowing us to increase residential care for 30 women and children. We also relocated and opened our Barrington House in Monroe County for women in recovery and their children.
  • And this Christmas, we’re helping fulfill the wishes of 2000 families!

There are so many other success stories to tell you about. There’s the client in our Traumatic Brain Injury Program, who just finished Driver’s Education and is in the process of buying a car. Or the guest of Francis Center, who transitioned to one of our supportive apartments and now cooks daily for the residents.

In his words, “This is family. I cook because helping the guys helps me, too.”

It truly is a privilege to walk with our clients on their path to independence.

As I write this, CCFCS is approaching its own milestone – the one-year anniversary as a combined agency. Thank you for the kindness you’ve shown us these past 12 months and the many ways you partner with us in our mission to serve those who need us most. In 2023, we would love to have your support as we celebrate more milestones.

You can find many ways to join us.

I wish you a joy-filled Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With gratitude,
