CMT Premiere: Josiah Siska Makes Laughs, Memories with New Video "3 Tequila Floor"

Josiah Siska is particularly fond of the antics of the alien in his video, calling it "the greatest thing, ever"

Josiah Siska is keeping the summer feeling going into the fall with "3 Tequila Floor.” The Black River Entertainment artist hopes fans who watch the new video take away a lot of happiness and laughter, he says, because that’s what the video is all about.

“It’s about having a great time, laughing, and getting three tequila floored!” Siska said.

"3 Tequila Floor” was written by Bobby Terry, Matt Rossi, and Clayton Davis and produced by Terry and Doug Johnson. The music video is produced by Stereophonic Films, directed by Nathan Meckel and co-directed by Michael Gomez.

Siska said the cast made a lot of great memories while filming the music video, but his favorite involves an alien, a holster and a bottle of tequila.

“A little green man came out and started dancing and throwing $100 bills around,” Siska recalls. “I saw that he had a gun holster, with a green bottle of tequila and a worm in it and I just lost it laughing. I thought it was the greatest thing, ever. That was a core memory for me, seeing the little green alien dancing around.”

The singer said the music video brings the song to life by showing all of the characters in the story having fun.

“You see little Katie Shepherd, Tommy Turner and the little green man all having a good time,” he said. “You could watch the video without the music, and you would still know what is going on. I love that about it.”

Siska describes seeing the music video for the first time as one of the “coolest feelings” he’s ever had.

“Getting to see the song I love come to life in the music video gave me goosebumps,” he said. “I can’t wait for everyone else to get to see this video. It’s a lot of fun.”
