Dear Friend,Â
As we close out 2025, we at the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO), want to express our gratitude for your continued support in improving the health and well-being of Asian American (AA), Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (NH/PI) communities.
Thanks to your partnership, we’ve made meaningful progress this year. While there’s still much to be done, we’re committed to continue working with you to ensure that medically underserved populations have access to the care they deserve.
Keep reading to relive some of the key moments from this year, and be sure to connect with us on social media for more photos and updates throughout the year ahead!

With your partnership and support, this year we: |
Advocated for the health needs of AAs and NH/PIs |
Working with AAPCHO Members and other partners, we responded to threats that put the communities we serve at-risk, including cuts to the Health Center Program, Medicaid, diabetes, hepatitis B, and other health disparities.
|
Further increased our research and data impact by: |
-
Supporting eight submissions to our Community Institutional Review Board (IRB). Through AAPCHO’s in-house Community IRB, we helped ensure that AAPCHO or AAPCHO Member-initiated research is relevant to member communities and is conducted with high standards of research integrity.
-
Implementing our Community Health Hub for Innovations in Data Exchange (CHIDE) initiative, which included producing 10 publications and convening 6 peer learning communities. Through CHIDE, we work with partners to promote public health data interoperability, support community health centers (CHCs) as they modernize their data systems, and ultimately improve health care and outcomes for everyone.
|
Addressed the impact of chronic and infectious diseases through: |
-
The Pasifika Wellness Hub (P-Well), a CDC-approved Umbrella Hub Organization, we convened partner organizations and offered services to improve health outcomes for Pacific Islanders. P-Well is led and administered by AAPCHO’s Pacific Islander Center of Primary Care Excellence.
-
The Tuberculosis Elimination Alliance, through which we provided 10 organizations mini-grants totaling $100,000; hosted a TB Community webinar series; and published a TB AA and NH/PI fact sheet in support of our commitment to eliminate TB among people at risk through education, raising awareness, and innovation.
|
Provided training and technical assistance to build capacity |
Working with our partners, we provided training and technical assistance to individuals and organizations serving AA, NH/PI, and other medically underserved communities through our National Technical Assistance Program. We worked with our partners to offer 16 virtual learning modules, TA sessions, and national webinars; 5 learning collaborative sessions; 10 in-person trainings; and 3 publications delivered to clinical and non-clinical providers serving a total of over 32K patients throughout over 1,500 federally qualified health centers (FQHC) and FQHC Look-Alikes nationally.
|
|
|
Uplifted the essential role of CHCs through: |
-
Our Increasing Capacity to Improve Access to Care for AA and NH/PI Elders at FQHCs in California program, which aims to promote more inclusive and culturally competent integrated and coordinated health and social services that ultimately improves the health and well-being of all older adults in California.
-
The AANHPI/MENA Collaborative to End Gender-Based Violence, a partnership between AAPCHO, Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, and Community Health Synergy, to address gender-based Violence (GBV) in Asian American (AA), Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (NH/PI) / Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) communities.
|
Thank you for being a part of our community this year. With your continued partnership and support, we’re excited to build on our shared progress in the year ahead.
We wish you a restorative, joyful remainder of the holiday season. See you next year!
— The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations
