This #MuseumMonday, rather than shining the spotlight on our collection, we’re showing off part of our exhibits and displays - specifically, the recently repainted elevated walkway in the Trolley Display Building!

This addition to the Trolley Display Building was installed last year, giving visitors platform-level access to three of the trolleys in our collection. One year later, and it looks better than ever while welcoming visitors aboard SEPTA Norristown Division 209, City of Philadelphia/SEPTA 606, and Philadelphia & West Chester Traction 07! #transit #history #museum #trolley #streetcar #VisitWashingtonPA
From the ashes of May the 4th rises #RevengeOfThe5th. Today we ask: who knew that the Dark Side has trolleys?

Collection

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is focused on preserving and restoring our collection of antique streetcars. The Museum was founded in 1953 and has continued to conserve, preserve, and restore cars through a mostly volunteer effort. Today, we house a collection of 50 streetcars, many of which are operational and used for daily rides. Visit our Collection page to learn more about all of our different trolleys!
