Effective January 1, 2018, producers who hold an Arizona life insurance license on or before 1/1/2018 and who wish to sell annuity products in Arizona must complete the below requirement by 1/1/2018.
Producers licensed after 1/1/2018 must complete training prior to solicitation of annuity products.
Training includes two separate requirements:
1. A one-time, 4- hour annuity training course
- Mutual of Omaha has contracted with RegEd, a third party vendor to offer state-approved CE annuity courses to meet this requirement.
- RegEd is available to brokers at www.reged.com/moobroker for an annual fee of $30.00, which will allow unlimited access to CE courses.
- You must sign in as a first time user and create an account. Then login using the new user name and password.
- When registering for a course, check the CE option and RegEd will send your completed CE information to the state.
2. Company Specific Annuity Product Training
- Log into Sales Professional Access (SPA) under the Training & Compliance tab, Select “Protect Your Business” column. Click on the NAIC Annuity Suitability link. Choose the National Annuity Training Course.
3. Once you complete the training course, your annuity training information will be automatically sent to Mutual of Omaha.
4. If you completed annuity training through another vendor, you must fax the Certificate and Acknowledgement Form and the 4-hour completion certificate to Producer Services at 402-997-1829 or send by email to: agency.mailbox@mutualofomaha.com.
