Your child’s birthdate, as it relates to the September 1 deadline, determines which class is age-appropriate for your child.

Toddler Classes:

For children 8 to 35 months of age. The Toddler program schedules are consistent with the school calendar established by the Orange County School Board. The Toddler program is available from August through June.

Preschool Classes (three years old by Sept. 1):

For children at least three years and less than five years of age as of September 1. All children must be potty trained. Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (four years old by Sept. 1):

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This program is free through the State of Florida with the Certificate of Eligibility. Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Transitional Kindergarten (five years old by Sept. 1) and need one additional year to be successful in their next educational journey.

9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The TK program hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Toddler I: (8-16 months as of Sept. 1) 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Toddler II: (17-27 months as of Sept. 1) 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Available Monday through Friday.  Parents may select 3-days to 5-days per week.

2’s Plus: (28-35 months as of Sept. 1) 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Parents may select 3-days to 5-days per week.

For children who are three years old by September 1, we offer a two-day, three-day, or five-day program. For children who are four years old by September 1, we offer a five-day-a-week VPK program from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. For children who are five years old by September 1, we offer a five-day-a-week Transitional Kindergarten program from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The hours for the preschool (with the exception of transitional Kindergarten) are from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. An Extended Day program is available Mondays – Fridays. Hours for children enrolled in Extended Day are from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Extended Day program runs during the school year.

3-Year-Old Monday through Friday Classes: (3 years old as of Sept. 1)  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. All children must be toilet trained.

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. All children must be toilet trained.

For children who have completed a year of VPK or similar four-year-old program. The curriculum follows benchmarks for a typical Kindergarten school year in a smaller setting with smaller classroom sizes. This class will help children feel more successful before moving on to their next educational journey. The class will provide additional instruction that is not just repeating another year in a VPK program.

9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended Day classes are offered from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
