Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Located in Madison, IL

Salary: $16/hr - $30/hr, BOE

Are you an experience Industrial Maintenance Electrician that is looking for a career with plenty of opportunity for advancement and great benefits? Responsibilities include:

• Perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, and switches; and set-up sensing mechanism, utilizing hand tools
• Carry out diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic components of equipment and machines which are faulty
• Render assistance and manage contractors’ roles for electrical duties
• Render assistance in administration and regulation of the duties of junior technicians
• Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
• Identify/report unsafe operations and maintain the work area clean, safe, and organized
• Work extended normal working hours when equipment/machines are not operational and necessary to run production

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working on various equipment/voltages in manufacturing setting
• Experience with PLC's, Drives, 480 Volt 3 phase, 4160, 250 Volt DC, reading
• Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 1st shift (Day Shift)
• Affiliated experience of at least five years with outstanding troubleshooting and technical aptitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Sufficient familiarity with schematic and electrical, diagrams/illustrations
• Outstanding acquaintance with safety, health, and environment regulations
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and blueprints
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with a high attention to detail
