BNIM Volunteers at Veterans Community Project

BNIMers from the Kansas City office teamed up with JE Dunn’s Kansas City International Airport TerminalGarage project team for a weeklong volunteer effort for the Veterans Community Project. This crew of people volunteered their time and donated design work for the new pavilion structure for unhoused veterans that reside at Veterans Community Project in Kansas City, Missouri. Along with the time and design work, other local companies donated the materials needed for this team effort. Though the rainy weather throughout the week created a gloomy atmosphere, the team created a beautiful space that would serve those who have served our country.

The Veterans Community Project Village is currently made up of 49 tiny homes ranging from 240 to 320 square feet. This village not only provides the tiny homes for unhoused veterans, but also provides furniture, appliances, bedding, food and utilities free of charge thanks to generous donations from the community.
