WHITEWATER — Corey King was inaugurated as UW-Whitewater’s 18th chancellor Friday before a crowd at the Young Auditorium. In a day filled with pomp and circumstance, King expressed appreciation and spoke of progress and success across the university.

King told the audience that he attended nearly 500 events on and off campus in his first six months on the job as chancellor to listen and learn by engaging people in the community. He said those conversations showed the embodiment of university terms like “Warhawk nice” and “Warhawk assertive.”
