As our community rallies together in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, we want to set aside a space to acknowledge and empathize with members of the SUNY New Paltz family who are dealing with personal loss.
We created this page as a way to honor the family, friends, mentors and loved ones our campus community members have lost to COVID-19.
At a time when social distancing makes it hard for us to grieve together and support one another, we invite students, faculty, staff and alumni to share tributes to those we have lost, and join us in a communal process of mourning and healing.
Resources are available to members of our community who may wish for assistance processing loss. Students are encouraged to contact the Psychological Counseling Center at (845) 257-2920. Employees may reach out to the Employee Assistance Program at (845) 257-2886.
