This week we explored the star groups; from binary systems, to star clusters, and all the way up to galaxies. Examples of where we can find such systems in the summer sky will be pointed out. Then we will look at two recent gravitational wave detections of black hole mergers. Each merger represents a potential new “first” in this emerging area of research.
