Behavioral Decision Making Researcher @ UCLA Anderson

Malena de la Fuente

Hi! I’m Malena, a 5th year PhD student in Behavioral Decision Making at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

My research examines how people make decisions, particularly financial decisions, and how morality and ethics influence their choices.

I also do research with non-experimental methods, including several projects studying spatial movement using smartphone geolocation data.

Before graduate school, I worked as a software engineer at BlackRock, doing fullstack work primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.

I hold an AB in Psychology and a minor in Computer Science from Princeton University, where I conducted research with Susan Fiske.
