Accessing AgileMD Clinical Pathways within IP Orders Activity

To make the AgileMD inpatient clinical pathways searchable within the Orders activity tab, several new order sets were created to link users to the clinical pathway. Please see the attachment to view each order sets synonyms for ease of searching. Each order set contains a hyperlink which will take the user to the accompanying clinical pathway and also contains a communication order which autocompletes upon signing. The following order sets contain hyperlinks to the AgileMD IP Clinical Pathways:

Anemia (18+) IP Clinical Pathway [10359]

COPD (18+) IP Clinical Pathway  [10257]

Community Acquired Pneumonia (18+) IP Clinical Pathway [10258]

Hypercalcemia (18+) IP Clinical Pathway  [10356]

Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter (18+) IP Clinical Pathway [10358]

Upcoming AgileMD Clinical Pathways

We are please to announce that the Inpatient UTI- Evaluation, Adult (18+) went live on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. This pathway targets inpatient care by a generalist/hospitalist, outside of ICU, that either present with symptoms of urinary tract infections or have an incidental positive UA due to testing done in emergency department.

  • Priority goals of the pathway
    • Represent when and when not testing and empiric treatment is warranted
    • Educate providers in the HOUDINI protocol to allow nursing to drive catheter removal when appropriate
  • Enhanced features of pathway
    • Sidebar report links to show
      • Foley insertion date
      • 90-day urine micro results
  • ISDA guideline for updated treatment recommendations are projected for fall 2024. When these become available, the AgileMD clinical pathways team will partner with system AIP team to revise pathway to add a new section for empiric antibiotic treatment guidance

Create Sequential and Overlapping Chains in Most Data Models

You can now build sequential and overlapping event chains in nearly all SlicerDicer data models. You can also create sequential or overlapping chains directly from the Browse button. Select the data model name under the Sequentials header to use data model events, like Hospital Admissions, in your comparisons. For example, you can now filter your results to only readmissions in the Hospital Admissions data model.
